Tonight Trey and I were sitting in the den having a glass of wine when Lil and Reid came running in covered in colored paint yelling, "Hey, look at us! We're idiots! We're idiots!" They circled the house a few times and continued to yell it. As Trey was laughing, he said, "Oh, that's classic!" Reid then started yelling, "Yeah, we're classy! We're classy!" We still haven't determined whether they meant Indians (or where the whole "idiot" thing came from), but it provided a lot of laughs and quite a few encores with even more paint. After I took these pictures, they went back into the kitchen and covered their arms, legs, and feet, too.
Getting it all off might not be so funny.

Oh, those paint dots! Gotta love them; Carver likes to put a dot in the center of each palm so he can be like "Mo Doodle" from the Doodlebops! Good luch washing-don't be tempted to pull out the magic eraser!
I am glad each of you had a glass of wine. Don't you know that fingerpaints are outside activities. When the painting has finished you just take a hose and water down those little darlins.
