Lil had her first friend spend the night last night. She and May have been friends since they were babies (they met when they were 6 months old), and Lil spent the night at May's house a few weeks ago. Lil couldn't wait to actually use her trundle! (Thanks to Aunt Lauren and Uncle Luke for hooking us up with another mattress.)
When Lil was going to bed tonight (please note the Lighting McQueen pajamas - she calls them her "racing suit"), she said she was lonely and wanted Ruby to sleep with her. I think that might be the first time Ruby has been allowed on a real bed in over 5 years. Getting her up there was a struggle - for both of us - but she seemed delighted with the invitation!

You rock Lil, I use to let Ruby sleep with me when she was a puppy. I'm sure she was very happy!!
